Prof-ELP is a European project funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme under the Leonardo da Vinci action, whose goal is to develop the first European portfolio in the area of language learning for professional purposes aiming at improving employability and mobility of current and future workers in the European Union and develop their language competences for professional purposes.

Prof-ELP offers usage opportunities traditionally not considered in the design of ELPs in other fields, such as the possibility of working with a useful instrument in an electronic format not only for the employees but also for stakeholders involved in the processes of building language skills for employment, such as HR managers in companies, employment service providers and language service providers or tutors.
