Last February 11th-12th, it was held in Brussels the 2010 Meeting for new Comenius, KA2 - Languages and KA3 - ICT projects, where project coordinators were able to meet each other and to meet representatives both from the European Commission dealing with related policy aspects, and with EACEA representatives and staff responsible for their projects.
Although the main purpose of the meeting was to inform project coordinators on the procedures and rules to be followed for financial and contractual management of the project, participants had the chance to hear and learn from good practices from ongoing and past projects and to receive practical tips for the project implementation.
In this framework, the EACEA organised the 1st Meeting for Network Coordinators, parallel to the plenary session, to which LILAMA Network was invited to participate.
During the meeting, coordinators presented their networks and the activities carried out, and had the chance to learn about the rest of the networks’ activity and functioning mechanisms. All Network Coordinators agreed on the importance of keeping each other informed of the activities and events carried out by each network in order to participate and collaborate whenever possible.
The meeting was also attended by Pedro Chaves and Teresa Codenço from the Multilingualism Unit of Commission’s DG EAC, who expressed their interest on the Networks’’ activities and underlined the importance of getting to know all the experiences gathered form projects for future policy development.
