LILAMA partnership met in Gothenburg (Sweden) to hold the 5th Consortium Meeting that took place form May 17th to 19th.

The Adult Education Authority of Gothenburg (Vuxenutbildningsförvaltningen I Göteborg), as host partner, welcomed LILAMA participants and presented its position regarding language training policies for the labour market.

As the project is finishing by December 2011, partners focused their efforts on the development of the main LILAMA outputs, expected to be finalized by October 2011: completion of the Observatory of Best Practices, publication of the Best Practices Guide and building up of a Policy Model that may guide in the design and implementation of national and regional language policies in the labour market.

During the meeting, partners also discussed about the future of LILAMA as a Network, and outlined a sustainability model which, apart from financial issues and Network mission, includes the entry of new members. The membership entry procedure will be available from September and will promptly publish on LILAMA website.
