LILAMA Network also issued Policy Recommendations resulting from the 3 years work of the Network which might be valuable to inform the next EU programming period, 2014-2020. In this sense, it should be mentioned that the same day the new "Erasmus for All" which will supersede the current Lifelong Learning Programme, was officially presented, also in Brussels.
Among addressed Policy Recommendations the following are highlighted: the further simplification and dissemination of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages between companies is encouraged, the development of specific fora for closing the gap between companies and language providers, the promotion of tools and methods allowing companies to reflect on their language strategies and needs, or the delivery of lifelong learning opportunities to language teachers leading to the update of their skills.
